Counting Expired Lots

Summary:

Does the system perform any validations when counting expired or inactive lots during cycle count? My customer will import their cycle counts using FBDI, including for Lot controlled items. However, they want the system to flag when they count a lot that has expired or when the lot status is inactive. See screenshot below.

The lots enabled items are setup with either user defined expiration date or with item shelf-life days. However, during testing, I was able to count lots which we know have expired.

Perhaps I am missing some settings or configs?
