Landed Cost Trade Operation workflow and audit trail

Summary:

Scenarios:
(1) Workflow - Client is requesting if there is a way to have an approval workflow in Trade Operation creation. This is to make sure that any changes on the Trade Operation will be approved first.
(2) Trade Operation Audit Trail - client would like that a document history be available in the Trade Operation so they'll be able to check how many times the Trade Operation has been changed/ modified.
Is there a way or workaround to achieve these requests?
