Is it possible to view original configuration values during amendment in configuration

Summary:

Dear Team,

When we click on Modify after selecting assets in workbench, it takes user to configurator where user can make changes to configuration selections. We have a requirement to see original config values and amended values both in configurator for price comparison and calculations.

Is this possible. If yes, please enlist the steps to achieve this.

Also is it possible to store all configuration attributes on asset workbench OOTB.
