Invalid session ID or session expired error on custom BIP report

we have a custom report which runs in fusion. the report used to run for almost 2hrs in past. but with increase in data now, the report is running for close to 2hr 30mins. After its executed for this long its ending in error with below error message -

we suspect this is due to the session timeout settings of the server. is there a way to increase the timeout to allow this report to be executed.

Caused by: javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Authentication error. Invalid session ID or session expired (session ID ending with 'jl8kjb3')
