Absence - Is there a way to automate overriding of Public Holiday so that they will not get paid

edited Jul 16, 2024 4:36PM in Workforce Management 1 comment

Hi All,

We have implemented Work Schedule Management so we can update weekly schedules for our non fulltime employees.
With this, we have created an Unpaid Absence Plan (Unpaid Leave Reading Week) for our employees who should not be getting paid during Reading Week (June 23-29). However, we have Employee Appreciation Day (set up as Public Holiday) on June 28th.
We have discovered that the employees who are scheduled to work on June 28th are receiving pay.
Is there a way to automate overriding of Public Holiday so that they will not get paid? The Appreciation Day sometimes comes twice in a year. So the automation should be like it will check for the PH and it will not pay that day.

Howdy, Stranger!
