Cannibalization Process in Oracle Fusion Cloud

Summary:

We are an Auto-mobile company. We have a scenario where we need to replace a damaged spare part of a customer's vehicle. For this we remove same sparepart from any of the existing vehicles in our company's inventory and fix that spare part on the customer's vehicle. So for this we create and process a Job Order in Oracle CPQ Application which is integrated with Oracle fusion order management to create a Sale Order in oracle fusion order management application for a non inventory item which ultimately creates invoice in receivables for the repair service given to customer.

But now we need to initiate the Procurement process for the spare part which was removed from existing vehicle in our company's inventory. Our requirement is that when the new spare part is received in future, it should be reserved by default to the above Job Order and the new spare part should not be available for any issuance against any other transaction.
