Attribute Based Planning with Reservations

Summary:

We are using attribute based planning to achieve netting based on prespecified rules.

The rules are defined as follows –

  1. If demand netting attribute is not blank, then net with supply netting attribute having value WP.
  2. If demand netting attribute is blank, then net with supply netting attribute having value RG.

However, planning output does not seem to honor this. For example – a sales order with blank netting attribute is getting pegged to on-hand with attribute value WP.

Does anyone have any experience on how to achieve this netting requirement using Attribute based Planning?
