Incorrect cost date for transactions

Summary:The transactions are costed with incorrect cost date and not same as transaction date. Due to this reason the average cost and inventory valuation is not appearing correctly.

Transaction on 31st Jan got costed on 27th Feb, numerous transactions from 1st Feb to 27th Feb got costed while many costed on other than transaction date. Why 31st Jan Transaction not got costed on 31st Jan itself but costed on 27th Feb. This is a bug in the application and not an intended behavior.

As per Oracle logic. the cost date for backdated transactions inherits the greater of the backdated transaction date and the date of the last processed transaction, means if the item/valuation unit has already processed or costed transaction then next transaction's cost date will be later than that.
