Rollup Cost in Actual Cost method ends with Item Cost Missing error even item cost is available

Summary:

We are following Standard Cost method (Standard Cost Book) for Primary ledger and Actual Cost method (Actual Cost Book) for reporting purpose. Hence Actual Cost book is not associated with any ledger.

Standard cost is uploaded and post that On hand is uploaded without item cost due to Standard cost of item has multiple cost elements.

All the on hand transactions were not processed in Actual cost book since there is no cost available. Hence updated Actual Cost Receipt Layers and Item cost is available in Review Item Cost.

Cost Scenario created to perform cost roll up for the Make items and performed Cost Rollup. But its ends up with warning and in View Scenario Exceptions, we could see that item cost is not considered for cost roll up and ends with error ‘The items are missing the cost definition’.
