How far Curation rule identify the most visited assets/product. Is it 1 week or 1 month or any other

we want to understand how many days does curation rule for number of views are persisted in system and how can we reset them so that we want to make results in Category/Search pages are relevant to explain business team.

Also how far back they go to identify the most visited assets/product. Is it 1 week or 1 month or any other time period in guided search request?
