Implications of changing the Primary UOM to Cases

Hi Oracle Team,

We are considering changing the primary unit of measure in WMS to Cases but the documentation doesn't fully outline the implications of such a decision.

95% of our business operates at the case level but unfortunately we also support Ecommerce in the same facility which deals with eaches and cases.

If we were to change this approach:

  1. Would we still be able to maintain a quantity relationship in the item configuration between Item → Item Std Pack Qty → Item Std Case Qty?
  2. When it comes to order allocation, would we still be able to set up allocation rules to allocate at eaches and cases?

Howdy, Stranger!
