    Line Manager receives dual notifications from Projects and Payroll time card approval

    Summary:

    We have the below requirement for approval and payroll processing rules based on person criteria.
    Payroll Processing rules:

    1. Exempt Employees - Process only Project entries

    2. Non-Exempt Salaried Employees - Process Project entries and Payroll entries (Only Overtime codes)

    3. Non-Exempt Hourly Employees - Process Project entries and All Payroll entries

    Approval rules:

    If the time card contains projects info, it should route for Line Manager approval and trigger FYI to Project Manager.

    If the time card doesn't contain project info, it should route for Line Manager approval

    Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

    We configured the same approval rules in both Payroll and Project BPM tasks. In the each Employee criteria worker processing profiles we used different consumer sets with below configuration.
