Pipeline, can we backup application using pipeline feature in EPBCS

Summary:

We are trying to get rid of Batch scripts run on Windows machine and utilize the pipeline feature and schedule job using Schedule Job.

Currently, we are running multiple jobs such as application backup daily and other BR's and DLR's on frequency, wanted to understand, if we can use the pipeline and Schedule Job to back up application? Or it might be a new enhancement?
