Short Term Disability Absence plan Setup
Summary:
Hi Everyone! Does anyone done a Short term disability plan setup with an extract to 3rd party payroll for payments? Need your inputs please!
Requirement: STD absence weeks 1-17 will be paid 100% of their weekly working hours and weeks 18 - 26 will be paid at 80% of their weekly working hours.
Week1 will be STD start date + 7 days irrespective of emp schedule. Ex: Emp STD starts on Wednesday, week 1 = Wed + 7 days
Week 2 = Wed +14 days so on. Basically Calendar days.
Employees should be paid for the scheduled days in a week but that week emp on STD should be calculated towards 1-26 band calculation.
