FCC Recompute Ownership

Summary:

Sometime in June, FCC started requiring the Recompute Ownership Data job to be run anytime after the database was refreshed. The database refresh could be run for something as simple as an addition of any dimension (no entity changes), yet the recompute ownership was required for translation to run successfully. Is this now a requirement for any metadata changes going forward? Is there an explanation as to why this is now required?

If the job job is not run and the database is refreshed, it changes the status of consolidation to “Metadata has been changed. Please recompute the ownership data.”. If not done it will cause translation to fail for that period.

Howdy, Stranger!
