Serial Numbers not Restricted while Performing WIP Return Components

Summary:

When material return is being done for a component that was issued earlier in the WO, then system is not restricting to return just the serial number that was issued earlier. The Serial number LOV lists out all available serial numbers for the component item.

How to ensure that the actual serial issued is only available for return and not others.
