Can we add edm connection in EPBCS Planning instance?

Summary:

We have a requirement to add connection to EDM from EPBCS-Planning instance. All instances are in same domain.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We see that we can create connections Planning,ARC,NR etc., except EDM. When trying to add EDM url in connections it is not recognizing the EDM URL.
