24hours bereavement leave in a qualification plan US legislation

Summary:

We are trying to set a bereavement leave plan as a qualification plan but are not sure will be an appropriate choice, as we have our requirements as

1- Employee can record 24 hours of bereavement leave and will get the remaining hours to go as unpaid or deducted from their accrued paid leave days.

2- How unpaid leaves can be set up for this Bereavement plan?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have a couple of doubts about

1- How do we try to record an absence for 24 consecutive hours, it should not allow them to enter bereavement leave the next day and if the uncertain event of the death of anyone in the employee's family occurs the same week or even the next pay period, they are permitted to enter bereavement leave again for 24 hours max at a stretch of 3 consecutive days. likewise, n number 3 days of bereavement leave that they can take in a calendar year. The only condition is they are eligible for Bereavement leave after they finish their 90days probation

Howdy, Stranger!
