The depreciation of what if analysis and actual depreciation are different

when we perform what if analysis on existing assets with same parameters like depreciation method and life in years, we are getting different depreciation from what system calculates.

Is this normal or can you let me know how exactly depreciation gets calculated in what if analysis report.
