Sequencing Planned Order releases on Requisitions/PO's based on Requested Delivery date

Summary:

When Planned Order lines are released to create Requisitions / Purchase Orders , release lines are not getting sorted based on requested delivery date or using any configurable ordering criteria.

Our requirement is to order the Requisition Lines/PO Lines by requested delivery date. Not having the PO lines in the order creates confusion for suppliers as well as for us in receiving the material against the correct PO line and impacts the supplier on time delivery performance.

Requisition lines are created without any clear line ordering /sequencing logic (for example- requested delivery dates) and this is causing a problem, specifically when Requisition Lines for the same item number and Line 1 gets created with a later requested delivery date and line 5 and 8 could have an early requested delivery date.
