How to enable Shipment DFF in Shipping Seeded Subject Area?

Summary:

DFF have been configured in Shipment Lines Level. Requirement is to be able to fetch the DFF in seeded Shipping subject area for configuring an OTBI report. Note that BI Publisher is not an option because of roles/security issue and it must be OTBI. How can this be achieved?

Is it possible to create a custom subject area and fetch the DFF on a Shipment Line? If so, how?
