Consolidation Method

What consolidation method that I should choose between subsidiary or holding for this structure? and why.

I ask this question cause I found out the difference of consolidation method setup for A Group in some environments that I know. In first environment, A Group is setup as Holding and A Company as Holding. But, on the other environment, A Group is setup as Subsidiary and A Company as Holding. Technically, A Company is the Parent, and A Group is used for consolidation result like B Group.
