Role based validation of date field value in Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR

edited Jul 30, 2024 10:59AM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Summary:

Hi All,

I need to restrict / validate a value in the "Date" field , i.e Ex:- "Hire Date" field

Value in the Date field cannot be lesser than Todays Date (i.e, Date cannot be Past Date)

Actually i thought of Groovy script / EL expression to achieve this validation , but the catch is

the system shouldn't allow Past Date only for Users with Role :- Ex: HR - Talent Acquisition Role

whereas "HR Specialist" should be able to enter the "Past Date".

So in short this Date field value Validation should be done User roles wise.

i.e for HR Specialist No validation is to be done

Howdy, Stranger!
