What is the behavior of Enabled and Start Date/End Date inside a value set?

Summary:

Hi ,

We are trying to understand the logic behind Enabled and Start Date for each value inside a value set.

We understand Enabled is a flag like active/inactive, but once the value is disabled, is it still visible on the tables in OTBI if the value was used before?

We also see that in UI, value does not show to the user if end date is before today, even if the field is enabled (see Value 4)

Therefore End Date > Enabled Flag. So what is in the end the meaning of Enabled flag, if the field will not show in UI, unless end date is not before today?

Howdy, Stranger!
