Is there any functionality where the instructor can book the slots for Training

Hi,
We have a requirement where in instructor can book the slots and learner can view the instructor slot and request for training. In LMS system only learning specialist can create the course and assign the instructor (on the basis of their availability), however is there any functionality where in instructor share the calendar slot and learner request for the training.
Any workaound will be appreciated.
