Backorder Work Order Components

Summary:

Our organization uses Oracle ERP and integrates to Oracle WMS. We want to be able to send the full component quantity from ERP to WMS for each Work Order but due to the reservation process, only the available quantity in ERP will flow to WMS. If we could transmit the full quantity, understanding that one or more components may not be fully available, we could begin work orders while awaiting the remaining component inventory to arrive and allow WMS to allocate the additional quantities to the work order at a later date.

Is there any ability to have Work Order Component Items on backorder? Or some other status which would allow for the full quantity to transmit to WMS and reserve at a later time after inventory has arrived?
