How to identify on click of submit that quote will escalate for approval or Autosubmit?

Summary:

We have a requirement where we need to run some business logic when quote approves completely.

We are planning to write this logic in submit after modify, but as this should execute only quote is approved.

When quote auto approves, submit action before/after formula executes only once, where as when quote escalates for approval, submit action execute twice, before request for approval and after final approval.

We looking for option other replicating all approval conditions in cleansave to set some flag if none of the approval conditions are satisfied.
