How to create the version controlled work instruction(Attachment) to be used in Manufacturing cloud
Summary:
We are currently evaluating the best options in Oracle Cloud for maintaining SOP documents and work instructions(Attachments) with version control, ensuring they are accessible to Manufacturing Engineers and Operators for use during work order execution in the Manufacturing Cloud.
We came across the option of creating the document in Product development module, the approach is to create a document and add all work instructions and SOP documents, this document creates as a item in PIM, and this item can be added to the Item Structure and the Work definition to any operation in work definition.
By implementing this, how will the Manufacturing team access these documents? Currently, only documents attached to the Work Definition Header and at the individual operation in the work definition, or those added to the work order and operation appear as attachments in the Dispatch Console. How will Manufacturing Engineers and Operators know that there is an attachment at the item level?
