Autocomplete Position Get Last row (Position.Get HCM Position Hierarchy )

Hello,

Is there a way to get the current row instead of using get Last Row or Get First Row for this Function?

Our requirement is a bit basic in which if the parent position is null and the facility is <some value> then an error message would pop-out

When we tried adding a new effective date it appears that both the get last row and get first row for the parent postion is getting a value instead of null. Therefore our error is not popping out.
