Incorrect absence validations after enabling redwood

After enabling Redwood for absence management we are facing issue with the validation rule, But if the same absence is submitted as an HR which is a classic page it works as expected. Mentioning few example cases below for reference.
Has anyone came across similar case.

After enabling Redwood for absence management we are facing issue with the validation rules/Pages.
- employees are eligible to charge 3 days of absence but even if i select 2 days, Page gives error saying you are not eligible (But works fine with HR's classic page). Please note emp has 7 hrs per day schedule.
