We are facing a scenario due to incorrect data entry, team member incorrectly terminated employee’s (****) original assignment (EXXX) and created a new assignment (EXXX-2). After the new assignment creation, payroll paid out the employee via the new assignment(EXXX-2).
This data entry error has impacted to employee's Benefits and benefits related integration and we are looking for corrective actions
1) Since both Terminated and Active Assignment has payroll runs. Is there a way to merge assignment EXXX-2 into EXXX via backend?
2) Our understanding is that we cannot update Legal employer start date using HDL load, is there an option to correct LE hire date via backend?
