VBS default When and Why effective date to todays date

In Redwood flows we want to know how to default the When and Why Effective Date to Today's Date in VBS Business Rules.

in RUI all flows 'When and Why' effective date defaults to Today's Date. In Redwood flows the date is always blank. Is it possible to Default the date to Today's date? Example: Change Location, Change Manager etc.
