How to schedule a custom weekly GL report, which includes date parameter of "PostedDate-7"

Summary: Custom GL Report which needs to run at 12:05 AM weekly on Tues night and include data only from the previous week.

If PostedDate = Aug 6, the report should include data from July 30 to August 5

For the next week, PostedDate = Aug 13 and report should include data from August 6 to August 12.

Do we need to add Trigger to Data Model? If the parameter of PostedDate is set when the report is first scheduled, how would the parameter date be updated for the follwoing weeks?
