Task details not required while association of projects in contracts

Hi,
While associating a project to the contract, task details are not required by the client for one BU and it is required by another BU.
So can we restrict these details for one BU through some workaround.
The page customization wont work as it will then not be seen to another BU as well. Kindly update.
