Oracle Search for HCM
We are in the process of enabling Oracle Search for HCM as noted here: and Oracle Search for Recruiting LOVs as noted here:
As we work through this process, we have some questions.
- Can someone confirm that this is completely separate of Global Search that we see at the top of the screen?
- What is the difference between Global Search and Oracle Search?
- Where should we see the enhanced search options by enabling these features? Is this particular to certain screens and not others? For example: I can tell that it's applied to the worker LOV under Employment Info (when I search for someone by misspelling their name, they still appear), but if we are logged in as a manager, we aren't seeing the enhanced search results under My Team>My Team>Search Person - if fact, if I search for anyone by name, even spelled correctly, the search results aren't filtered at all.
