24C-Intraclass UOM is not autocreated from Packaging string if item is imported via FBDI/Import Map

When item having a packaging string is imported via FBDI / Import Map - it does not autocreate the intraclass UOM conversion. However, when a packaging string is assigned to an item from UI or if the item is created from UI , then it autocreates Intraclass UOM conversion. The below opt-in (highlighted in red) is enabled.

"Autocreate UOM Conversions When Adding a Packaging String to an Item" - is this feature not available when items are imported via FBDI / Import Map ? Or is there anything else that needs to be enabled ?
