Adding text on the add absence page

Trying to add text on the Add Absence page for the voluntary time off absence time.

Using personalization and adding a component of add text on the page but the text is not visible on the page but only shows up when we hoover over the text box which is displayed on the page.

Is this a bug or known issue or am I missing on anything while doing personalization on the page.

Any inputs are appreciated. Added image below for reference.
