How to configure for Weighted Average Depreication?

Summary:

Client has requirement to use a "weighted average" depreciation for one category. I've never used this type of depreciation and not sure how to configure appropriately for it in ERP Cloud Assets.

I'm researching using Group Assets for capturing what they call the "Function" in this example. They capture all Functions in one asset - so parent \ child is not applicable.
