Creation of a bank branch

From Setup and Maintenance->Financials->Cash Management-> Manage Banks

When we the click Create Branch button on the Manage Banks page.
- The Bank name gets defaulted upon selection.

But on the Manage Bank page, if HSBC Hongkong (clickable link) was selected, click the View Branches button, and the page will go to the Manage Bank Branches page. Then select + or create.
- The bank field does not generate automatically.

Is this the logic or standard behavior of Oracle?
