Work instructions, along with in-line directions and communication notes, during operation execution
Summary:
Ability to add detailed work instructions longer than 1000 characters in the Standard Operation, Work Definition, and Work Order, which should be visible to technicians during work execution. The technician executing the work order should be able to view the detailed work instructions while performing the operation in the application UI.
Ability to capture detailed notes during work execution at the individual operation level, like in-line direction and communication notes, where the technician can record additional details like the torsion values set for screws, shift handover information and instructions, without marking the operation as complete.
Note: Typically, the lead time for a work order exceeds one year, and individual operations can last for several days or weeks. Therefore, a scalable solution is needed to capture detailed in-line instructions, ensuring that technicians on subsequent shifts understand what has been completed and where to resume work.
