Clarification regarding VB Studio

Summary:

I am little confused with the usage of VB Studio which gets provisioned with SaaS and the one we provision for PaaS. Which one we should be using?

Is there any difference?

1 - In most of our projects we create stand alone VBCS application using OIC/VBCS and embed in Fusion for the users to access with SSO in place. I want to leverage CI/CD pipelines of VB Studio.

If we have to provision VB studio, which one we should use. SaaS provisioned or PaaS one ?

2 - Can we use only VB studio (SaaS or PaaS) to develop VBCS standalone applications? Or do we need to have VBCS as well to deploy these applications?
