Different waitlist status in Course and Offering

Summary:

On 24C.

While testing waitlist feature, found something interesting.

When a Learner goes on waitlist at Offering, different status is displayed in Course.

As administrator,

Course shows Pending Active.

For the same learner, Offering shows Waitlisted.

From Learner, Me > Learning

front page shows Pending Active, required

However, when the Learner clicks in, it shows Waitlisted.

Is this how it should behave?

Can we have the SAME status on both Course and Offering? At least the same badges on the Employee self-service?

This causes so much confusion.
