Findings on 24C Feature - ALERTS COMPOSER - RESOURCE ALERTS PERFORMANCE

Summary:

Did some testing on the 24C feature, where Oracle stated - You can now run concurrently-scheduled alerts defined on the same resource, in sequence, one after the completion of the other. This improves performance of resources that retrieve high volume of data.

Per Oracle - There is a brand new profile option - ORA_HRC_ALERT_INCOMPATIBILITY_ENABLED delivered as part of 24C.

Checked in our PROD instance (24B pod), could see we already have this profile option which is disabled by default.

And irrespective of this profile option being turned off/on, see that alerts which are scheduled to run at the same time, are running one after the other.

Howdy, Stranger!
