Purchase of Property through PO and linking it to a Lease?

Hi,

Our customer is currently having practice where they raise a Purchase Order to purchase properties and they will budget for the ROU account which is the PO charge account. As they are now going to implement the Lease accounting module we seek advice on how to achieve this, as currently in lease accounting there is no budget check.

And also if we are to continue the current practice of raising a PO to have the budget check along with the Lease Accounting, there will be twice an DR entry passed to ROU account from Lease booking and Receipt Accounting. And also since the AP invoice should be PO matched to set off the Accrual A/C from receipt accounting we cannot Dr the Payables Clearing A/C from Lease Accounting.
