Are there other ways to clear assets from transfers besides ADFDI spreadsheet?

In one of our test environments I inadvertantly moved a very large number of lines into new transfer status by creating a mass transfer within the FA module. I entered a name for the transaction group without entering any other parameters, then saved.

Using the Prepare button will not work as, I believe, there are too many lines for it to process into the spreadsheet. I get a server connection error. I tried filtering the transfer list to reduce the lines down to 5-10 and tried individual assets, however, with the Prepare button, the spreadsheet does not load. If I open a new spreadsheet from the task menu, I am able to connect. After I enter the relevant information and upload in delete status, no change occurrs on the transfer list within the module.
