Can I mass update retirement transaction exception with multiple transaction group in one batch?

Summary:

We get about a hundred retirement exceptions at a given time, with only about 1 to 4 assets per transaction group. When selecting the retirement exceptions to be prepared via the Update Mass Retirements spreadsheet, we are limited by the Transaction Group. Is there a way we can select more assets retirement exceptions in one batch, even though these are from different transaction groups?
