Option to enable Geofencing in laptop/desktop

Summary:

I am exploring geofencing option. After enabling geofencing for webclock, I am unable to record time through laptop. I am getting the error "Available only on mobile devices because geofencing is enabled." It's working as expected when I try through my mobile. It there any plan to allow geofencing in devices other than mobile.
