Recruiting Activity Center_Rejected Candidates?

Summary:

We have activated the Recruiting Activity Center however some of our recruiters are seeing candidates in a rejected status with an Activity assigned = "Awaiting hiring team review". Given that the candidate is rejected, there is no additional activity that is needed for this candidate either from the Recruiter or the Hiring Manager.

How do we determine what is triggering rejected candidates to show up in RAC and/or is there a way to stop them from displaying in RAC? I reviewed the Oracle documentation regarding 'triggering events' however I am not clear if I need to be looking for a specific notification that was sent to the Recruiter or HM?
