In Supply Planning is there any way by which we can disregard Sales order demand in Safety Stock

We have a requirement in which customer wants to disregard Sales order demand in Safety Stock calculation and only consider forecasted demand for Safety Stock calculation.

Is there any Plan option setting or any other way by which we can accomplish this in Supply Planning.
