Error "Attribute ManagerType in DirectSupervisorDEO is required." when updating position for worker

Hi All,

When we are trying to change (tried using both UPDATE and CORRECT actions) the position for a worker from My Client Groups > Person Management, we are receiving the below error:

"Attribute ManagerType in DirectSupervisorDEO is required."

We have already referred to the below Oracle support doc, however the issue is not getting resolved. As per this doc, if there is some direct report overlap that needs to be fixed I believe, but in our case it is not so. Please suggest if I missed something here.
